Terminates 8-position (RJ-45/RJ45), 6-position (RJ-12/RJ12), and 4-position (RJ-11/RJ11) modular phone plugs. Grisoft Greenlee Telephone Ratchet Crimper has a compact head to fit into and maneuver within tight spaces, as well as ergonomic handles for operator comfort. Changing crimping dies not needed. Used and in excellent condition. Rare Vintage XACTO Lock Griplier Pliers, 5-1/2" long, Made in America. Steel, looks like chrome-plated. In the decades we have collected rare, antique, vintage and precision tools, this is the only XACTO Lock Griplier Pliers we have ever run into. These Griplier locking pliers are stamped with: "The 'Third Hand' for Small Assemblies". The "gun site" like structure at the top is the lever that you push forward with your thumb to lock these XACTO pliers, causing it to hold tightly onto the object of interest. You push it back to unlock. These extremely rare Griplier pliers make an absolutely wonderful collectible for collectors of tools in general, pliers in general, locking pliers, clamping tools or locking tools, XACTO tools, electronic tools, craft tools, modeling tools, etc. - your collection is not complete without THIS very rare XACTO Lock Griplier Pliers. These Griplier Lock Pliers are also extremely useful in gripping and manipulating small objects from nuts to wires to electronic parts, modeler parts and craft parts. Handle can be placed in a soft-jaw vise to hold and position this tool while you work on the clamped object. It is a mystery to us why this very useful tool never became a standard tool.

RARE HANDHELD PINCH CLAMP / FLY-TYING VISE

Used and in excellent condition. Rare Handheld Pinch Clamp / Gripper Clamp. This hand held pinch vise or pinch clamp tool was made from a rare antique tool (no parts of the antique tool are missing or modified). Pinch clamp opens up to about 5/16" (if bigger gap is needed, use a longer thumb screw). Its two washers have rubber pads on them so as not to mar your held object. You can easily remove these two washers and substitute in bigger washers, smaller washers, oval washers, rectangular washers, and other odd-shape and odd-type washers or extensions you can make or buy to customize this tool for your various needs. You can also stack on more than two washers or extensions to hold multi-layer, laminated and mulitple objects. You can also use the pinch clamp to hold a cutter wheel(s) or blade(s), sanding wheel(s) or grinding wheel(s) to cut, scrape, grind, smooth or shape your work. And it is great as a tool extension for small tools.

This pinch clamp can be used as a fish fly-tying vise tool (fly-tying clamp / fly-tying holder / fly-tying gripper) to grip your hooks and other small parts. And it can also be used to hold or grip just about any small object (including small tools to work on the tools or as tool extensions). One image shows it gripping a few pages of paper, the other image shows it gripping a 36" wood ruler between its two washers, securely clamped down using the thumb screw so that you can securely without touching the object with your fingers. And it is great for clamping down on small glue jobs and solder jobs. And great for the crafts person, modeler, electronics fabricator, jewelery worker, clock repairer / watch repairer, photographer, seamstress, paste-ups, electroplater, CSI and forensic personnel, medical workers, and other small precision types of jobs.

Fluke Model 78 (MAC Tools # ET78DMM) Automotive Multimeter Digital Test Meter / Automotive Meter / Automotive Digital Multimeter (DMM), New Test Leads, User Manual and Soft Case (note that case is not the original case which came with this Fluke electronic meter). Fluke is one of the best makers of electronic test meters and electronic metering systems ever. This powerful Fluke Model 78 vehicle DMM is designed to accurately measure voltages, currents (upto 20A), resistance, continuity (with beeper), diode function, frequency (sinewave and square wave; 1Hz - 850KHz), duty cycle (0.0% - 99.9%), temperature (degrees F, degrees C), RPM, and dwell. Many of these meter functions are special measurement functions used with cars, trucks and other vehicles, as well as other applications. Note that the Fluke #78 frequency functions are over such large bandwidths, and also include duty cycle, to make this Fluke 78 meter a very powerful lab and field electronic test equipment for every electronics laboratory as well as every garage-type and field applications. The User Manual clearly describes and illustrates each vehicle hookup position. The RPM setting provides two RPM functions - (2) for engines which fire once every 2 revolutions, and (1) for engines which either fire once ever revolution and for waste spark systems and Distributorless Ignition Systems (DIS).

Used and works excellently. Wilde Grip & Pull Pliers / Spreader / Separator. These separator / spreader pliers are great! Primarily used to remove one object from inside another object (e.g. a wire, rod, tube or pipe inserted inside of a larger one). You simply place the two objects into the jaws of the pliers, then squeeze the handles. The pliers first grips tightly and uniformly around each object as its jaws close. Then, as you squeeze more on the handles, the jaws steadily pull apart, smoothly and steadily removing the gripped smaller object from the gripped larger object. This is the kind of tool that most users don't use frequently, however, when you need it, virtually nothing else will work or at least work nearly as well (if you use pliers, you likely will crush the objects, if you use your hands, you won't nearly have the leverage and smoothness that these pliers have). This is a great tool for crafters, modelers, electronic fabricators, clockmakers, jewelers, and others doing fine and precision work. And for general shop uses.

These extended alligator clips are also great as heatsinks to both hold and protect electronic components when soldering their leads or tabs (by clipping onto or near the electronic part so that the excess heat conduction along the lead goes into the clip and not into the electronic part. Starting in the 1960s, devices like these were and are still commonly called, "roach clips," and were used to secure smokes so that the smoker could obtain maximum use of his/her smoke without burning fingers (tobacco products these days are very costly). Everyone needs at least a couple of these.

Used and in very good condition. Elastrator Elastic Band Expander, Rubber Band Expander. Commonly sold as a Veterinary Castration Tool. For elastic bands 1/4" - 2-1/4" diameter. This Elastrator tool is unbeatable for expanding out heavy-duty elastic bands. We bought two, are keeping one and selling this one. Tiewraps are usually not optimum for bind groups of bundled objects in which one or more objects is not in direct contact with the tie wrap, thereby tending to slip out from the middle of the bundle. With an elastic band, the elastic pressure pushes the bundle tightly together, thereby minimizing slippage even in bundles consisting of dozens of individual objects. Even for ordinary store-bought rubber bands, this Elastrator Elastic Band Expander tool is a big advantage because you can expand and place the elastic band with just one hand using this tool while you grip and place the object or bundle to be banded with your other hand. And heavy elastic bands are difficult to expand with your hands, requiring both hands to expand, and can snap out of your grip producing a bad sting or flying off some great distance. Where does one get heavy-duty elastic bands? We've seen them commercially sold (most commonly as Elastrator Bands, Qty 100 for $15-$20), but what we do is buy from a bike shop (for $1-$3 each) discarded heavy-duty bike tubes but still in mostly very good condition (bike tubes come in various wheel diameter and tube diameter sizes), then we cut them into 100-200 bands of various widths. Bought at an estate sale. This is a versatile multiple-use pliers complete with a built-in punch / connector crimper, wide cutters, and wire stripper, as well as its powerful normal gripping function. While in like-new conditions, both the upper and lower cutter blades are replaceable. These Dielectric parallel jaw pliers are 8-1/2" long, husky, and industrial grade - built for those really tough jobs. The really nice thing about parallel jaw pliers is that the jaws close evenly on the gripped object, as opposed to the "V" jaw openings of standard pliers, which interferes with gripping ability because gripped objects tend to slip out of the "V" grip (especially nuts). Also, because the jaws are square and parallel to each other, you can use these parallel pliers jaws as a line spacing tool and as a small square, and even (forbid) as a light-work hammer. These are truly rare - as well as extremely useful - after months of looking on eBay and Amazon.com, I could find no other pliers like this one.

We have 20 of these Slender Jaw Vise-Grip locking pliers / gripping pliers with the unique slender needlenose jaws. We don't know whether they were made this way by the factory or machined by their former owner (most likely as there are minor variations between pliers, but there are also minor variations between factory-manufactured Vise-Grips; the pliers you receive may not be the exact same pliers as shown in the image). Typical of all Vise-Grip pliers, these are very high quality Vise-Grips.           (2) Because these Vise-Grip pliers nose is long and slender, it holds and grips parts (e.g. nuts, screws, washers, nails, pins, rods, hardware, etc.) better than the standard long nose Vise-Grip pliers and much better than non-locking needlenose pliers. Used and in very good condition. Rare steel K-D Tire Width Caliper (Tire Width Gauge), and Rim Width Caliper (Rim Width Gauge) allows you to accurately measure both tire and bar rim widths. Rim and tire widths are given in both inches and tire sizes. Expands up to vehicle Tire Size 14 (14 inches). Image shows it is collapsed down to its smallest size (Tire Size 8). Tire widths are measured using the bottom tynes (outside measurement), and inside rim widths are measured without the tire using the top tynes. It is difficult to accurately measure rim and tire widths any other way, including with other types of calipers and gauges. With this simple, sturdy, accurate special caliper, you simply expand it out, rest the flat surface on the surface of the tire tread, then collapse it down until the tire tynes press against the tire walls, then view the measurment. For vehicle rims, you simply collapse the tire caliper down, insert the rim tynes inside the rim, then expand it out until the rim tyne points come into contact with the inside of the rim, then view the measurement. Great for switching out tires and/or rims, and for aligning and balancing tires. This inside/outside caliper tool has many other uses as well, including general shop use, carpentry caliper and construction caliper uses, manufacturing plant, farm and ranch.

Used and in great condition. The box has seen better days but is still intact. This is NOT the clearly more common No. 702 Ace Stapler Pliers which uses the No. 70001 staples (of which we have and use about a half-dozen of), but the No. 702 that uses the No. 700 staples (apparently, the same staples but with an older number; there are minor physical differences between the two staplers but they don't apparently affect the staples used). These staples are truly distinctive and very classy - as far as we know - ACE was the only one who made staplers that used these "undulated staples" (wavy staples). Whatever you staple stands apart from everything else anyone else has submitted alongside what you submitted. We have had people call us on the phone and ask us what in the world we use as a stapler and how can they get a stapler just like mine. This No. 702 Ace Clipper, however, is apparently so rare - in all my years of looking - this is the only one We have ever found - so We are not selling it cheap. We would not even suggest to use it but perhaps display it. Both the 702s that use 70001 staples and the ones that use 700 staples are very high quality chrome plated staplers - we swear if these were fetched from a sunken ship after years, they still would be bright and shiny - none of that awful mousy grey or black paint used on "standard" office staplers.

New. This is an unmarked solid 1/2" stainless steel rod or bar that can be used for many applications. We do not know what its original function is but it probably was used in some scientific laboratory application. On one end, the rod is machined flat on top and left side, flat spots are about 1-1/4" long and 3/16" wide. On the other end, secured with two set screws is a 3/4" steel fitting 1-7/16" long. At the end of the square piece are 4 machined screw holes, 1/2" apart, and appear to be for 4-40 machine screws (screws not included). This is a nice set up because the rod can be secured with a lab stand clamp, and then work piece or tool can be clamped to the square end using any number of conventional clamps, vises, vise grips, etc. And the rod end can be used to securely clamp a variety of pullies, motorized drives, etc.

Comes in two parts, shown scotch-taped together. Heavy, stainless steel vise / steel clamp, about 4.5" x 4" appears to be only slightly used. Frankly, we are not sure what this is. It may be some kind of medical vise / medical apparatus clamp, but it has versatile uses for the crafts person and small model builder in particular, and has scientific laboratory and general shop uses as well for holding and positioning smaller items of unusual shapes. It provides a precision clamping or vise function. It has precision through-holes drilled in it for insertion of the shown pin to lock it into position. Other precise drilled through holes are provided that appear to be used for marking precise positions. Can be autoclaved and used in a harsh environment.

Versatile chrome steel and aluminum laboratory clamp. Originally made for some unknown medical or laboratory use. Can be used to clamp many different things in the lab, shop, and crafts. In the top image, left end above the wingnut is an "eye" bolt inside the shown shroud that holds it. This eyebolt has a 1/2" dia. hole, serrated on the inside. The shroud and eye bolt can be rotated through 360 degrees. By tightening its wingnut, you draw down the eyebolt which tightens down and clamps a rod up to 1/2" diameter against the groove in the top of its shroud (right part of groove is shown below 8-1/4" mark on ruler).

This sale is for stainless steel Pakosnap weighted photo clips with the weight that fits inside or outside of the clip (I also sell unweighted photo clips, see my webpages). This clip is perfect for hanging film (roll or sheet) or for hanging or stretching any other kind of sheet material (1/4" thick or less in thickness) its strong grip will hold to prevent curl. The advantage of weighted photo clips over the unweighted ones, is that if curl is a problem, the unweighted clips require attachment to external weights or springs to provide the necessary stretching force. The weight can be easily switched from the inside to the outside and vice-versa, by temporarily removing the hinged front end of the clip and slipping the weight On or Off, and then snapping the front end back into place.

I prefer the weights inside the clips because the weight can then be easily slid forward as a wedge to lock the clip in the closed or locked position to hold greater loads and then easily pulled back to permit release of the clip. This kind of action is similar to a simple but very clever tool made and used by American Indian jewelry makers to quickly and securely position and hold jewelry and gem pieces they are working on without damaging or marring the pieces. Their tool consists of two pieces of hardwood, each about the shape and size of a hotdog bun half. At least one end, and sometimes both ends, has a leather, rubber or plastic cover on it. The two pieces are connected to each other about in the middle by a pivot so that one board acts like a seesaw on top of the other board with a 1" - 2" end opening or "mouth" at one end when the other end is pinched closed. The piece is placed in the mouth of one end with the leather/rubber/plastic cover, and then a wedge is shoved into the other end forcing the mouth end to seesaw close onto and secure the jewelry piece into place. The amount of force used to insert the wedge dictates the amount of "bite force" the mouth end applies on the piece being worked on. In fact, the wedge-shaped weights of these Pakosnap clips actually make ideal wedges for this type of jewelry tool. The weights also make nice fishing weights as well, as well as smooth and comfortable weighted grips for the ends if small rope, cable, string and chains. They can also be used for crafts and decorations, and as large costume jewelry pieces.

Used but in excellent condition. Made of strong aluminum tube. While one is shown, you get two of these - one right-side brace + one left-side brace. They are virtually identical mirror images of each other. These arm supports are highly adjustable. Each one comes with 8 adjustment knobs so that you can secure it to virtually any structure that has two parallel bars, rods or shafts from about 3/4" to about 1-1/4" diameter. You can independently adjust the heights of the horizontal bar clamps to match the horizontal bars to be clamped to. You can adjust the position of the arm rest in both tilt angle and linear position from the vertical bar. You can adjust - even remove - the hand-grip bar both in angle and distance from the arm rest. The arm rest uses a wide velcro strip for tying down whatever rests on the arm rest.

The other end has a clamshell type clamp, outer dia. is 1.5" and hole is 0.5", hole is perpendicular to gooseneck shaft. This clamp has two screws at the top; when you remove them, the top semicircle part comes off. You can then place on the bottom half hole a 0.5" or so dia. pipe, tube or rod, and then place and screw the top part back on. Or if you wish, you can just simply bolt right throught the hole what you need to attach to the gooseneck. This clamshell type clamp stiffly rotates independently of the rest of the gooseneck. Of course, either end can be modified to suit your particular needs.

This is the best quality, stiffest gooseneck we 've ever run into. If your load is particularly heavy (5+ lbs), you can easily much increase shaft stiffening by putting heat shrink tubing or even lawn hose over all or part of the shaft (for hose, slit it down the middle its entire length, then work it onto the shaft, then tape or cement the seam closed).

Great for shop, office, scientific laboratory, crafts, sewing, band / orchestra, model-making, robotics, etc. operations! This gooseneck flexible extension can be used to control the position of a mike, tool (e.g. power drill / grinder / polisher, such as Dremel equipment), magnifying glass, microscope, test equipment, lamp, camera, mirror, reference book, phone, small computer or display, monitoring device, parts supply bin, soldering iron, cup holder, etc. that you need immediate or convenient access to but don't want it cluttering up your desk or shelf. Should much increase your capability and efficiency. The cheapo commercial lamp-top goosenecks are a very poor and unsatisfactory substitute for most practical applications of goosenecks (even when stiff enough for light loads, cheapo commercial goosenecks are usually too short). These industrial-grade goosenecks are not commonly available, and usually much more costly than the cheapo ones.

New, hard copy or eBook. V-Blocks are invaluable tools, mostly used by mechanics and machinists, but with many other great uses. Most V-Blocks are made to securely hold round pipes, tubes, rods, hoses, cables, and other round stock or parts to be drilled, cut, ground, milled, punched, reamed, polished, welded, brazed, soldered, sculptured, painted, decorated, etc. so that these operations can be done very steadily and precisely. Doing these same operations by dangling the stock or other object off of the end of a vise or clamp generally leads to much cruder results as the worked-on object will likely vibrate or bend some and more likely even slip or be marred while being worked on. V-Blocks are not limited to holding and securing round objects. Square and rectangular stock and other objects can also be used, depending on the intended operation. And odd-shaped objects can be used as well - just as long as they fit and are secured onto the V-Block. We have even used V-Blocks to mount small motors. While securing stock and other objects for machining operations is the most common uses of V-Blocks, V-Blocks have many other practical uses, for examples, for displays of collectibles or items for sale, holding ice cores and rock cores, working on fossils, rocks and minerals, holding sports equipment (e.g. baseball bats, fishing rods), holding motors and generators, for storage containers, for book and magazine holders, for holding, positioning and guiding sliding or rotating rods, pipes, tubes, hoses, cables, shafts and tools, and as troughs. Commercial V-Blocks are milled out of hard steel using ultra costly milling machines, are considered to be precision tools, don't come in many variations, and are very costly (not good in these harder economic times). Custom making your own V-Blocks is a great idea because you can make V-Blocks which best suit YOUR particular V-Block needs. This manual describes fast, easy and cheap methods to fabricate V-Blocks (also referred to as "Vee Blocks"), as well as W-Blocks (also referred to as "Wee Blocks") and X-Blocks, which do NOT require a milling machine. The only material cutting tool required is one which will cut the materials you choose for your V-Blocks, usually a bandsaw or hacksaw. Both W-Blocks and X-Blocks are essentially multiple V-Bocks, all being collectively referred to as V-Blocks, so our same methods easily apply to W-Blocks and X-Blocks as well (a W-Block is a V-Block with two "V" notches on at least one side, a X-Block is a 4-sided V-block with a "X" cross-section). While V-Blocks are almost always made of iron or aluminum (or some alloy of either), our methods do not limit possible materials to iron and aluminum and alloys of either; in fact V-Blocks can also be made from brass, copper, nickel, bronze, plastic, wood, cardboard, compressed paper, ceramic, etc. using our methods described in this manual.
