What you do is fill up a large cloth bag with packing peanuts with a hook at its bottom. You then rubber band or clamp this tool to the mouth of the filled bag, invert the bag and then hang bag from a sturdy wall hook, pipe or beam. Apple peelers/corers by themselves are fairly common, usually about $20 in very good condition. However, a high quality apple peeler / apple corer / apple slicer combination like this fine Norpro tool is rare these days. Not limited to apples, but works on other fruits as well, including large fruits. For this Norpro model, the 3-prong head can be unscrewed, leaving a threaded screw that other attachments can be mounted to (other attachments not included). And the slicer tube can also be unscrewed and removed. These features are especially useful if you want to convert the Norpro into a nice, wide-opening, strong but yet lightweight vise or clamp by screwing on a large washer head instead of the prong head and removing the slicer tube. I bought brass ice tongs at an estate sale. We was told that it was made in the 1930s - not quite antique yet, but certainly vintage. These brass tongs do not have any stampings on it as to manufacturer or part number. We do not know the family and we are not an expert on this kind of Item, so we do not make any claims as to this account. Great as a display for the fine home, office, restaurant, tavern, tourist attraction! The image shows the tongs on a tiled background, tiles are 12" x 12" size. Completely closed tongs are 16" high, and completely opened up tongs are 22" wide.

Used and in good condition. 21" X 16-1/4". The purpose of this tray is to hold down possibly slippery meat for secure cutting. Without a tray like this, you might end up splashing hot meat juices all over your Aunt Mildred's Sunday finery or the carving knife might slip and you also carve up your Uncle Bob. This works simply. The "dot" pairs you see in the middle are small, 1/2" long stainless steel points that you rest the meat on top of so the meat doesn't slide around on the meat tray as you carry the loaded tray or cut or serve the meat. The stainless steel rod assembly at the bottom is attached to the groove arc on the right edge of the tray. It is then positioned for the option position over the meat should you still need greater control of the meat, and then lowered and driven into the meat to hold the meat from the top. It looks real professional in full operation. This tray is used for carrying, cutting and serving meats - not for cooking anything. Tray body is wood, and it has sturdy stainless steel carrying handles at both ends. Tray is shown leaned against a wood chair to give an idea of how really big it is - easily handling even very big turkeys. Tray can also be used to carry bread, cakes, etc., and is easy to clean. Disassembled, as shown, it is easy to store in many kitchens.

Used. This very high quality knife bag / tool bag is 28" x 20" unfolded (excluding flip out flaps). Has a 19" wide zipper pocket, sturdy handle, and pinch connectors. The outside has a few stains and a small cut (repaired) due to a couple of trips we took with it. Inside is very clean but with two small cuts (repaired). Stains are minor and can probably be removed. Especially ideal for chefs and cooks, and for technicians and mechanics who have long tools or parts to store. Used and excellent condition. Valdor Fiber Optics case / valise, w/ hard plastic shell and padded inside, 16"x14"x4". Very high quality. Originally designed to hold 8-10 Valdor instruments, it can be adapted for many other instruments and instrument combinations. Darker portions in bottom, right image are the recessed parts of the bottom padding. The dark rectangle at top of this image appears darker than the rest because there is no cushioning at its bottom. This Valdor Fiber Optics case is very versatile, has practically endless uses. Recessed spaces vary in width to permit thick meters and tools to PC cards and slim hard drives, and most recesses are long enough to accommodate two handheld meters. Medium-width recesses are great for probes, transducers, parts, and tools with handles. You can of course carve or remove the inside cushioning to you liking.

Used and in very good condition. We bought it at an estate sale. Believed to be of a vintage WWII military crystal case (for radio crystals) according to the family. Not only is this very strong and durable steel box a great military collectible, but it can also serve as a really strong and secure case for keeping valuable instrumentation, precision tools, other collectibles, and expensive other items such as jewelry, gems and precious stones, coins, fossils, important rocks, etc. It individually unlatches from both its top and bottom to provide padded spaces for securely storing and protecting valuable items. First image shows the top and front of the box, which measures 11" x 4.25" x 3". The top, left of the second image shows the box with both its top and bottom opened up. Bottom, left of second image shows the boiler plate on the box (this is all of the information we have on these boxes; do you know more about them?). The right side of the second image shows the top and bottom sliding latches, with one in the latched position and one unlatched.
