New old stock (NOS), with a little dirt and discoloration on some insides. Strong, durable, high-quality steel Tool, Broom and Brush Caps with Handles. These steel caps are very versastile 5/8" ID caps. For woods and some plastics, the cap can be secured on using a nail or screw through the top hole as shown (hole can be enlarged for larger nails or screws). For metals, woods and plastics, cap can also be cemented or glued on. Cap can be removed and re-used/saved once the tool, broom, brush or other object is worn out or if broken. Great for hanging many different kinds of objects. Also, the cap top is smooth and strong, so also great for pushing on the object or moderate hammering of the object, such as a scraper, chisel, screwdriver or punch. We use these steel caps on the screw ends of our Vise Grip pliers by cementing them on so we can conveniently hang the pliers plus providing greater leverage and comfort in turning the vise screw. Another great use for these steel caps is to use them to replace rotating disks which often break off the clamping ends of "C" clamp screws. The cap can also be used as the strong business end of a tool, such as for mashing, crushing, dimpling, dappling, burnishing, wiggling (wigglers are hole center-finding tools). The cap can also be used at the end of tools in ball-and-socket applications, where a 3-finger lab clamp can be the socket. The cap can also be used to protect the ends of important objects from wear or damage. If the object's end diameter is too small for a snug fit, expand it out using heatshrink or other tubing, or tape or smaller cap, tube or standoff. Used and in excellent condition. Rare Vintage XACTO Lock Griplier Pliers, 5-1/2" long, Made in America. Steel, looks like chrome-plated. In the decades we have collected rare, antique, vintage and precision tools, this is the only XACTO Lock Griplier Pliers we have ever run into. These Griplier locking pliers are stamped with: "The 'Third Hand' for Small Assemblies". The "gun site" like structure at the top is the lever that you push forward with your thumb to lock these XACTO pliers, causing it to hold tightly onto the object of interest. You push it back to unlock. These extremely rare Griplier pliers make an absolutely wonderful collectible for collectors of tools in general, pliers in general, locking pliers, clamping tools or locking tools, XACTO tools, electronic tools, craft tools, modeling tools, etc. - your collection is not complete without THIS very rare XACTO Lock Griplier Pliers. Used and in excellent condition. Rare versatile handheld Pinch Clamp / Gripper Clamp. This hand held pinch vise or pinch clamp tool was made from a rare antique tool (no parts of the antique tool are missing or modified). Pinch clamp opens between 0" to about 5/16" to hold any object within that thickness range (if bigger gap is needed, simply use a longer thumb screw). Its two washers have rubber pads on them to not mar your held objects. You can easily remove these two washers and substitute with washers with or without rubber pads (e.g. to solder or heat the held object or to dip it into chemicals) - bigger washers, smaller washers, oval washers, rectangular washers, and other odd-shaped and odd-type washers or extensions you can make or buy to customize this tool for your particular needs. Washers and extensions can be made of metal, wood, plastic, hard rubber or composite materials. You can also stack on more than two washers or extensions to hold multi-layer / laminated objects, and mulitple objects of same or different types or thicknesses. You can also use the pinch clamp to hold a cutter wheel(s) or blade(s), sanding wheel(s) or grinding wheel(s) to cut, scrape, grind, smooth or shape your work. And it is also great as a tool extension for small tools.

The pinch clamp itself can be held in the hand or by a vise (soft-jaw vise preferred) or larger clamp. We prefer to hold the pinch clamp using a laboratory clamp / holder (talon clamp or extension clamp), of the 3-prong clamp or round jaw clamp type to easily and securely hold and position it at any angle and maneuver it with ease hands-free.

This pinch clamp can also be used as a fish fly-tying vise tool (fly-tying clamp / fly-tying holder / fly-tying gripper) to grip your hooks and other small parts. And it can also be used to hold or grip just about any small object (including small tools to work on the tools or as tool extensions). One image shows it gripping a few pages of paper, the other image shows it gripping a 36" long wood ruler between its two washers, securely clamped down using the thumb screw so that you can securely work on the object without touching it with your fingers. The Artograph Tracer Projector and enlarger is a great device for the artist, student artist, artistically-inclined, crafters and hobbyists, many others. Basically, you hang up a piece of paper on the wall (preferably white or translucent paper), for example, with pieces of masking tape on the corners. You then place the art, pattern or design item flat onto a hard flat surface large enough to fit the Artograph Projector and image enlarger. You then place the Artograph Tracer Projector on top of the item, You then turn the Autograph Tracer Projector On, and point it and enlarger towards the hanging paper. The 2X-to-14X projected image appears on the paper, which you then sharply focus by turning the black cap on front. You then trace around the enlarged projected image. You then make any changes you want to your drawing, and then you fill in your tracing with the appropriate colors while on or off the wall. The result is you can become a great artist. The Artograph Tracer Projector enlarger runs off of 120VAC. While originally designed to use a 100-watt incandescent bulb, the Artograph Tracer Projector works fine with popular fluorescent "curly-fry" bulbs that produce the same or greater light intensity at much less wattage and heat. This is great because when only incandescent bulbs were available, 100W bulbs were too hot to use the Artograph Projector on photo originals and other resin-based art or design items, but with newer cooler bulbs, discoloring or burning the item is much less likely. Also, since fluorescent bulbs produce higher frequency light, their projected images are more sharp than with incandescent bulbs. Art or design item image area is 5" x 5"and must be 2-dimensional or flat 3-dimensional (e.g. coins, jewelry, gems, insects, leaves and other biological or geological items, etc.). If art or design item exceeds 5" x 5" in size, then you can maneuver item to view whatever sections of it you want to that will fit into the 5" x 5" space. Used and in very good condition. Elastrator Elastic Band Expander, Rubber Band Expander. Commonly sold as a Veterinary Castration Tool / Emasculation Tool. For elastic bands 1/4" - 2-1/4" diameter. This Elastrator tool is unbeatable for expanding out heavy-duty elastic bands. We bought two, are keeping one and selling this one. Tiewraps are usually not optimum for bind groups of bundled objects in which one or more objects is not in direct contact with the tie wrap, thereby tending to slip out from the middle of the bundle. With an elastic band, the elastic pressure pushes the bundle tightly together, thereby minimizing slippage even in bundles consisting of dozens of individual objects. Even for ordinary store-bought rubber bands, this Elastrator Elastic Band Expander tool is a big advantage because you can expand and place the elastic band with just one hand using this tool while you grip and place the object or bundle to be banded with your other hand. And heavy elastic bands are difficult to expand with your hands, requiring both hands to expand, and can snap out of your grip producing a bad sting or flying off some great distance. Where does one get heavy-duty elastic bands? We've seen them commercially sold (most commonly as Elastrator Bands, Qty 100 for $15-$20), but what we do is buy from a bike shop (for $1-$3 each) discarded heavy-duty bike tubes but still in mostly very good condition (bike tubes come in various wheel diameter and tube diameter sizes), then we cut them into 100-200 bands of various widths. These bike tube rubber bands hold on much more securely than ordinary rubber bands, and last perhaps 10 times longer. Our main use for them is for bundling-up tubes of ICs, and also for bundling-up metal tubing and other metal stock, hoses, dowel rods, wires and cables, long screws and bolts, electronic parts (e.g. antennas), tool accessories with their tools, and tools with related tools, etc. Can also be used for bundling such things as flower arrangements, eating utensils, school supplies, craft items, closing non-zip type bags, etc. This versatile tool can also be use to quick and easily make air coils (e.g. to make inductors or to wrap wire, cable, string, thread, tubing, ribbon) up to about 4" in diameter - you simply slide onto each tyne a spool (not provided - empty thread spools work great), expand the spools out to the desired coil size, tape the tool handles so the expanded size stays fixed, wrap the coil, remove the tape, allow the tynes to close back in, and remove the coil from the spools.

The peel & stick copper foil roll is 1/4" wide and thin - typical of security copper foil for windows, glass sliding doors and skylights (glass / windows foil stripping) to detect glass breakage for burglar alarm systems / intrusion security systems. We have temporarily used them at up to 80VDC, where they get very hot (not recommended). We never go above 80VDC, and to date we have never burned one out. The highest voltage you should use with these Minco Kapton Heaters depend upon how much heat you want to apply, ambient temperatures, what materials they are heating, the thickness and size of the materials, whether or not they are on the top or bottom of the materials or sandwiched between them, and how well they contact the materials. You may have to experimentally determine your optimum voltage. As a general rule, the faster the heated material conducts heat away from the Minco Heaters (thermal transfer heatsink quality of the material and contact), the higher you can set your voltage. Used and in great condition. Rare Wall Mfg. Trio-R-Heat TL-650/U Soldering Gun (No. 2100 power handle, pistol grip), no tip or dual heating element, comes with a 1-page User Manual. Bottom hole (7/8" dia) has a light bulb (which works), bayonet car type. Top hole (5/8" dia) normally fits a dual soldering heating element, last we looked, both the heating elements and tips were still available (Sears). Also, many other useful plug-ins can be fabricated to use here. Trigger action results in a clicking snap switching action, so you have a firm feel as to when it is triggered ON and OFF. We bought these originally to experiment with possible stun gun applications, and for highly directional remote control applications ("point-and-shoot"). This Wall Mfg. Trio-R-Heat Soldering Gun is almost identical to the Sears Craftsman Professional Soldering Gun, Model 579-273200, 400/150 watts. We have both, and use the same heating element in either with no problem. The only known functional different between these Wall TL-650/U Trio-R-Heat Soldering Guns and the Craftsman 579-273200 Soldering Guns is that the Wall Soldering Guns have a push-ON / push-OFF light switch in the back, while the Craftsman Soldering Gun light comes on only when the trigger is pulled. The Wall also looks better built than the Craftsman. The "400/150 watts" means that the soldering gun idles at 150 watts, but kicks up to 400 watts when applied - which puts it way up on the upper end when it comes to power compared to almost all other soldering guns, which usually top out at 125 - 150 watts when used.

The lamps we used to help these take these images tended to overheat, we slapped on one heatsink on each lamp, which now keep them much cooler. These Sekisui heatsinks have other uses as well. For example, the slots can be used to hold thin shelving; it takes 6 of them for 1-8 shelf levels, two heat sinks on each back corner and one heat sink on each front side, then slide in the shelf or shelves, the distance between shelves can then be fine-tuned. These new Umec ADSL Pots UT20145 telephone low pass filter phone boxes are really great, especially for the experimenter! These were originally made for - and still function very well as - line filters for DSL applications. The enclosures themselves are heavy-duty plastic 4" x 2-1/4" x 1". As you see, the circuit board is easily removed, letting you use this nice enclosure for prototype projects you may be working on - high quality substitutes for expensive Budd boxes. It has a flange that protrudes from the base 1/2" on each side with a center hole for convenient mounting. The board itself has 3 RJ-11 phone jacks: One phone jack for the Line, one for filtered Output and one for unfiltered Output. The PC board also consists of sets of series inductors and parallel capacitors used to perform the low pass filter function. The enclosure cut-outs for the RJ-11 connectors can be used for other connectors, or you can cut off the RJ-11 connectors from the boards and mount them on your own circuit board. (Sorry, we just sold this Richco Crease Gun; we are trying to get more of them in.) Used and in very good condition. Rare Crease Gun (no - not Grease Gun - this is a Crease Gun). Rugged, heavy-duty. Adjustable with many versatile uses, but generally used to remove or make creases or dents in sheet metal and flexible plastic, more specifically usually used to remove dents and creases from dented car bodies. This crease handtool has a similar action to a pop rivet gun - when you pull on the handle, the bottom bit chuck (bit holder part) pulls up, and with a great mechanical advantage, to pull up whatever the bit is gripping onto. This crease tool is adjustable for the initial height of the bit chuck from the bottom for different lengths of bits and depths of creases. To use the Richco crease gun to remove a dent or crease, you screw or insert the end of the bit through a hole in the middle of the crease. You then insert the other end of the bit into the chuck and tighten it down. You then pull the handle to pull up the bit and with it the dent or crease up against the plexiglass, thereby flattening the crease or dent to remove it.
This Richco crease gun has many other pull-type uses, depending upon the bit used. For example, it can be used to pull a screw, rivet, pin, standoff or wire through a tight hole. It can be used to bend a stiff piece of wire or thin stock. Great for the autobody shops, crafters, modelers, fabrication shops, and sheet metal shops.
This Richco crease gun functionally works great. A plexiglass plate is added to the tool base as shown (which is attached by 4 screws and is easily removed or replaced with some other type of plate or forming fixture of your make or just left off), which much adds to its utility. About 1/3rd of the knob head is broken off and missing (not shown), but does not affect function. This Richco crease gun is 7.5" long. While high-quality heavy duty brushed stainless steel plates, they can be reasonably drilled, sawed and even punched - I punched one out by hand using a 1-1/8" dia Greenlee hole punch (I am almost 70). These stainless steel plates were originally designed for ceiling fans and lights, but have numerous other practical uses. For example, these versatile stainless steel disks can be used as very large washers, as covers and lids, as targets, as coasters (e.g. furniture coasters, table top coasters), as stand bases (e.g. for labs, displays, candles, tools, cameras, rifles, scopes and other optics, etc.), as shallow bowls and trays, as part of a toss game, for crafts, as shields, as reinforcing or protective end plates or caps.           The built-in Hobbico Accu-Glo Pro Series Controller controls Power Output, Fuel Pump, and Glow Heat Adjustment, and comes with its own built-in power meter. For model aircrafts, the Power Output is usually used for propeller starters (e.g. Hobbico Torqmaster 90).
          The white and red Mark X Fuel Pump (bottom right image) fuels up your model aircraft, model cars, and model boats. The crossing blue tubes on right side are connected to it. A tube goes to a cap (1-1/2" ID threaded, see top left image) used for a plastic fuel bottle (1 gallon or less), which normally rests on the platform below the Mark X Fuel Pump. (The Cermark USA Control Station came with the fuel bottle, but it had some stale fuel in it, which we disposed of and threw the bottle away.) On left of Mark X Fuel Pump are its power wires, which feed through the Cermark USA Control Station, and connect to the Hobbico Accu-Glo using banana plugs (bottom left image, red banana plug mostly under box), which controls the dispensing and filling of the fuel bottle's fuel.
          This Cermark USA Control Station is large, made of wood painted bright yellow for visibility, 20-1/2" long by 8" wide base, 13-3/4" tall as shown, and with two drawers for convenient storage. Top of Cermark USA box are 4 wood extensions, each extending out upto about 3-5/8" at any angle above and to the side, each secured into place with a thumb screw - great for holding or enclosing models, equipment, stock and tools, as well as for wrapping with string, ropes, cables, wires or tubing. Minor damages includes scraping and scuffing at the bottom, and a repaired broken "ear" (bottom right image); except for the scraping on the bottom end the Accu-Glo, the entire bottom is in great condition with yellow paint intact, and shows not visible water damage.

Used and works excellently. Wilde Grip & Pull Pliers / Spreader / Separator. These separator / spreader pliers are great! Primarily used to remove one object from inside another object (e.g. a wire, rod, tube or pipe inserted inside of a larger one). You simply place the two objects into the jaws of the pliers, then squeeze the handles. The pliers first grips tightly and uniformly around each object as its jaws close. Then, as you squeeze more on the handles, the jaws steadily pull apart, smoothly and steadily removing the gripped smaller object from the gripped larger object. This is the kind of tool that most users don't use frequently, however, when you need it, virtually nothing else will work or at least work nearly as well (if you use pliers, you likely will crush the objects, if you use your hands, you won't nearly have the leverage and smoothness that these pliers have). The T-handle is especially nice - comfortable and well-designed for hard clamping. Unlike almost all other nut crackers, this model has a threaded shaft and T-handle commonly found in vises and clamps to securely press against and hold objects. This Perfection nut cracker is modified with two large, thick knurled washers firmly epoxied to the clamp faces as shown. These added washers increase the clamping surfaces for firmer clamps. Also, the 1/2" dia. washer holes better clamp round and odd-shaped objects. These high-quality, well-manufactured, rugged aluminum or steel industrial-grade 9 VDC battery (9V radio battery) clips/holders, while originally not designed to hold batteries but for a different use, these clips securely and snugly hold 9-volt batteries into place. We use a ton of these highly versatile 9V battery holders / 9V battery clips in electronic equipment we build, often to replace existing 9VDC battery holders / 9VDC battery clips in equipment used in our electronic laboratories and shops, and for a very wide variety of other holding, securing, hanging, guide, joining applications for the many other parts, tools, prototype boards, rods, small pipes and cabling which conveniently fit into them.

These 9-volt battery clips can mount batteries in any orientation, and adapt to all kinds of battery clip mounting constraints found in equipment: They can be mounted in any of the 3 axes, and they can hold the battery or other part either on its side or its end. There is a bottom tab in the middle of both sides of the holder, about 1/2" x 1/2" each. Either or both of these tabs can be drilled or punched for a mounting screw or pop rivet hole to mount them on the side or bottom of a project box. And either or both tabs or sides can also be bent out at 90 degrees for flat mounting on the side or bottom of a chassis. And either or both tabs or sides can be sawed off or even broken off with pliers (by bending the tabs up and down several times to induce metal fatigue). The battery clip center or ends can also be punched or drilled for mounting a pop rivet or screw to mount it without the tabs. Or the battery holder can be simply cemented into place or tied in place using tiewrap.

By squeezing in the holder/clip sides, you can considerably stiffen the grip on the battery or other part to prevent it from falling out under even rugged handling of your enclosure (we even mounted one as a test to the underside of a car and it kept the battery in place for 6 months until we removed it); and by pulling the sides slightly more apart, you can considerably loosen the grip on the battery or other part for more easy placement of it. Changing the distances between the sides also allows the clip to be used with parts of varying sizes and shapes. For thinner items, you can use wood, plastic, rubber or cardstock spacers to help secure electronic parts and other parts using these holders. And for thicker items, you can cut off or bend away one side of each of two holders, and then space the holders apart the right distance to accommodate the thicker item.

These holders are so versatile, you should keep at least several in each of your work areas. Aside from holding not only batteries but numerous other small parts, two or more can be used to securely hold, separate and/or route long items, like rods, pipes, tubing, cabling and wiring. And they can be easily used to secure adjacent flat items together in several ways. They are very versatile for many, many uses.

Battery and battery terminals (i.e. battery connectors) are not included. The cone is solid steel and professionally welded on. Great collectible - if you are a pliers collector or punch collector and you don't have one of these, then clearly your pliers collection or punch collection is incomplete. Also, these cone-nosed pliers punch is very useful. Even if widely opened, the edge of top edge of the cone is accessible to a hammer. Functions include: (1) Pressing or tapping countersink holes into wood, plastic and soft metals. (2) Punching starter holes and widening existing holes into wood, plastics and soft metals. (3) Punching holes into cans and other containers. (4) Manipulating springs. (5) Sizing and expanding rings. (6) Opening chains and locks.
